L’Association Marocaine des Sciences Régionales
The Moroccan Regional Science Association (Association Marocaine des Sciences Régionales - AMSR) is one of the first regional science associations in Africa.
The main objectives of the association are to:
(i) contribute to the progress and advancement of the Regional Science through the development of horizontal, interdisciplinary and cross-sectorial research;
(ii) promote the Regional Science, its concepts, methods and tools in research or higher education organizations, institutions and institutes;
(iii) serve as a place of exchange of information and knowledge for the scientific community interested in Regional Sciences, and also a forum for deepening the reflection of topics related to Regional Science;
(iv) build relationships of scientific collaboration and technical cooperation with other national and international associations having similar objectives;
(v) promote the exchange of scientific knowledge and technical experience with regional, national and international professional groups, working on the production or use of knowledge of Regional Science; and
(vi) create and distribute any media to convey information between its members in the form of scientific journals, books, newsletters, journals, congress, seminars, study days, etc.
